Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching, and travel is the perfect gateway to experiencing real bliss on this special day. Travelling and meeting new people will add some much-needed excitement for this romantic holiday, and we have some tips for you to get the most out of it. We’re going to list 4 romantic cities, with things to do in each of them. Use these ideas as a springboard for your romantic getaway, and let TourBar’s network of like-minded individuals be the vehicle to meet your perfect match.

New York City

New York City is arguably the greatest city on earth, so it would be no surprise that there is no shortage of romantic things to do during Valentine’s Day. From the historic Central Park, to its lush botanical gardens, to the top of the Empire State Building, you have a wealth of options. But if we were to recommend one thing this year for someone who doesn’t have a lot of experience with NYC, it would be ice-skating at the famed Rockefeller Center. It’s a fun activity, and it’s a great way to get acquainted and comfortable with someone new. After you’re done, you can cap it off with a romantic dinner at The Sea Grill, a seafood restaurant which overlooks Rockefeller Center; or you can grab something else to eat at one of the many nearby restaurants of your choice. La Maison Du Chocolat is right around the corner, for some seriously excellent chocolates, and if cupcakes are more to your liking, Magnolia Bakery is right there as well.

London

London is a cool, quirky city, and is the perfect place to find love. We recommend that you trek over to The Madison, a central bar and restaurant that has stunning views of St. Paul’s Cathedral. Grab a bite to eat, get something to drink, and head up to the rooftop terraces; get there early enough and you’ll witness the breathtaking sunset behind the historic St. Paul’s. There’s nothing like it, and it’s a good way to meet a new romantic interest. You can share a pastry and coffee at PAUL Bakery too.

Paris

When people think of Paris, they think of it as the quintessential romantic city—they wouldn’t be wrong. The City of Love is a prime destination for Valentine’s Day activities, and there is no secret why. If you have very little experience in Paris, we recommend that you take a nighttime stroll through the Champ Elysees. It’s one of Paris’ most historic streets, and it is gorgeously illuminated with lights and is lined with numerous cafes. It is an excellent way to inhale the romantic vibe of the city.

Moscow

Moscow is swiftly becoming a premier dating destination, and it’s easy to see why. Take a nighttime water trip with Moscow’s river buses, which is a romantic way to sightsee, without the annoying traffic jams. Moscow has other options, as well: there are the ferris wheels—the largest of which, the Moscow-850, can offer spectacular views of the entire city. Moscow is a criminally underrated city, mostly because people are not aware of the romantic environment that is has to offer.
